So, During my weekend I managed to play through all of Brutal Legend. My opinions? It's F'ING ROCKED, pardon the pun but it did.

So, this is Tim Schafer's latest opus, the concept is absurd and overall silly as hell, but you know what it's freaking AWESOME. The overall concept is just plum rich with unique styling the story is just fantastic. The writing and voice acting is hilarious and overall it was just overall fun. Now I'm sure you want to hear a review so here's your review.

Overall the game plays very well, the controls are smooth and responsive, the car controls could use a LITTLE tweaking but you know what? I have yet to play a game with really REALLY good can controls so it's no big deal for me. I noticed that everyone's gripe with this game is the lack of a jump button...ok theirs two problems with that, ONE is the fact that Link never had a f'ing jump button in the LoZ games and no one complains about that, and two you get around well enough in the deuce that you really don't NEED it I dunno am I the only one who did mostly all the venturing in it? Cause I think thats what Tim was aiming for, ANYWAYS moving on. Eddie Rigs, possibly one of hte coolest and funniest main characters I've seen in a game in awhile, most of this is helped due to the fact that Jack Black plays him, now I will say he is Jack Black 101 everything about Eddie Rigs is basically Jack Blacks comedy molded into a single character SO if you do NOT like Jack Black, repeat if you DO NOT like Jack Black you will not like this game.

The cameos in this game is awesome, from Ozzy Osbourne to even Kyle Gass, Jack's partner in Tenacious D shows up. You know what all these Rock Stars were awesome at Voice Acting it was very surprising and cool. Now as many have read/seen/heard this game basically goes from a Action game to a RTS, to clearify this yes it does. This is basically my ONLY nitpick of the game, it's kind of shoddy done but you know what I'm willing to forgive it.

So, my final say in this? I say it's definatly worth a buy, the story is only about 8 hours long but you have all the extra content to get, AND theres Multiplayer though the multiplayer is based off the RTS stuff so yeah. GO! Rock on my children!...If your into that sort of thing.

So, as people may have heard Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom is coming to the states which is beyond awesome. Through this I'm hoping that allot of great Tatsunoko series will be FINALLY localized over here and properly translated, so It thought I'd share the greatness of all the openings for each of the characters from the Tatsunoko series that's gonna be in the, most of them I'm not TOTALLY familier with but with what I've seen, this is what reminds me what I miss so much from anime nowadays. Warning all the opening songs are utter cheese fests.

Possibly the most synonymous of ALL the Tatsunoko series, Gatchaman has been localized here and has been dubbed over I believe THREE times. Once as G-Force which is what I'M familier with it as, then there was Battle of the Planets which was a better dub over but once again not accurate. Finally it was localized here approperiatly as Gatchaman unedited and uncensored which is awesome. Here we have Hurricane Polymar, I will be honest I really don't know much about this series at ALL cept it possibly has one of the most awesomely cheesy openings EVER.

And we have Tekkaman, which in all honesty I don't know much about this either, apparently there space knights or somthing but hey the song's awesome and apparently it WAS localized over here in a poorly done dub and hasn't been picked up sense :< a pitty.

Ogon Senshi Gold Lightan, possibly one of my favorite openings out of these to be honest it's just so freaking catchy, plus how cool is a Giant Gold robot that transforms from a LIGHTER...umm...yeah thats all I got >.>;

Ok this here being Neo Human Casshern, allot of you maybe familier with this guy from the funky RL movie that was made over in Japan, which was cool but to be honest just wasn't up to par with this, and of corse theres a new series going on called Casshern Sins it's a really cool re-imagening of Casshern and pretty loyal to the original subject matter I'm quite happy with it, PLUS all the character designs are done by the Rockman Zero artist. And of corser here we have Yatterman, a series I've just...grown to fall in love with..I havn't even really seen EPISODES but just from what little PIECES I've seen I just love the pacing and characters of this show. Espeacially the villains the Dorombo Trio/Gang. There just a wonderful bunch of misfits and I really really hope this series gets to be shown over here from thsi game being localized. This show was so beloved that it even got a 2008 Re-Make for a TV series. [link]

So yeah...there you go all you spoiled modern day anime kids with your Soul Eaters, and Katekyo Hitman Reborns have a taste at Old Skool...cause this stuff is beyond more awesome then those...at least in this Old Kid's eyes >.>;

Ok so who here has seen some of E3 so far, pretty sweet I must say so.

Ok so lets start with the obvious first; Nintendo has once again ceased to amaze me really. Just wow how much I just wanna PUNCH Reggie in teh face so bad, that man drives me INSANE. Just it ceases to amaze me how much nintendo has fallen into just complete obscurity. Sure I'd LOVE to hear how much they have this new theory about how everyone can play a game but for Christs sake can we please just see some games already? Let alone GOOD ones...and out of all of them, Metroid Other M was the only one that REALLY has me looking.

Finally! A Metroid game with some story development, VA work and just...everything the series has needed for along while, I'm excited for this. Other then that...whoo hoo Mario Galaxy 2...looks...JUST like Mario Galaxy 1!...But with new stuff...and yoshi...whoo, I'm sorry just the plumber has been loosing his spark just as much as the Blue Blur with me. Golden Sun 3 was also unveiled too, but I was never into the FIRST Golden Sun...just ugh, somthing about it never sparked with me maybe cause it's just another Atypical fantasy RPG...with PSYCHIC push powers!? ZOMG...I dunno that whole gimic just BUGGED ME...and yes ladies and gentleman sorry to say that how I felt about it, it was a gimic a very poorly done GIMIC. I will admit though...multiplayer original mario is pretty cool...but not enough to really snatch my attention. Is it sad that the two games I'm really interested in are ones that Nintendo fanboys go, "ZOMG WHY IS THAT ON THE WII OH NOES!?"

Looks absoFREAKINGLY gorgeous, beyond anything I can comprehend, Odin's Sphere there first game was a visionary dessert and this promises to be a nice follow up.

So on the long run, Nintendo for me = Lackluster.

Not going to bother reviewing 360...I hate Microsoft honestly, I hate Bill Gates, I hate that freaking system, so all you 360 wankers can just sit here and suffer the show.

NOW! Onto Sony, by far much more impressive on press conference standards, sure allot of it was buisiness but hell at least we got to see some freaking GAMES in action compared to them just talking about how there system is so "OMG! FAMILY FRIENDLY! AND EASY TO PICK UP!"

And Uncharted 2 looks JUST as spectacular as Uncharted 1, I mean seriously they dived headlong into this genre of gaming and they do it SO WELL.

Saboteur looks EPIC graphically wise, and MAG...I am NOT a FPS fan...but FFFFFFF 256 players..AT THE SAME TIME Online...thats just..BEYOND epic by standerds just showing WHAT the Ps3 is capable of.

FFFFFFF! Have I ever mentioned that the Italian Renaissance is one of my FAV periods of time to look into, and the fact that Assassin's Creed 2 is based DURING it just makes me that much happier, let alone the fact that this game looks freaking just...YES...I really love the new Assasin too...what was his name? Ipscar? I dunno but hell he has Duel Hidden Blades, a definate plus. I love his outfit too...

And last but NOT least, Brutal Legend made by the awsomeness that is Tim Schafer and Double Fine. After Psychonauts I will admit I am a fanboy for Tim all over again, his point and click adventure games were just beyond awesome,he is so full of talent and imagination he might as well be ODed on the stuff anyways point is he's awsome. This game just looks even more so though, I mean come on how can you not love a action game thats basically one big HOMAGE to Rock Metal...it has OZZY I'm the F'ING LORD OF DARKNESS Osborne in there! And with that...my final note about Tim Schafer and his awsomeness is this.

So...good god when was the last time I updated this damn thing XD. Anyhow lots of stuff has happened, I still work for the wonderful company of Wal-Mart...and by wonderful it's just been going to hell and back, my hours keep getting cut and then bumped up to ridiculous amounts to the point of me just wanting to shoot myself in the foot. Namly the fact that I've been *cringe*Cashering...I HATE being a cashier...just UGH.

Anyhow, other then that I'm back in College 8D and I'm freaking POOR so I've gotta fill out for Financial aid and HOPEFULLY get it...if I don't then me and my poor dad are screwed...and I feel terrible cause he's willing to pump all his cash into my education and with the way things are financially are for EVERYONE, so yeah like hell am I gonna have him paying over a grand every quarter for me just to go to the school...*sighs*

Umm...artwise been just bleh XD I really need to get back into the habit of using my tablet to draw and color properly again, I've improved...somewhat ._.; just been trying to get back into the swing of things mostly wanting to work on Celestials again I got the first full story done, and working on the secound. But yeah, other then that playing a few games here and there, just beat Folklore for the Playstation 3 and it's one of the best underrated games on teh system I've played ever, the story was just whimsical and interesting and overall DIFFERENT, if you have a PS3 try it.

Guh, I gots meself a Subby, and I don't know Jack 8D I Header and footer? Wha? D: XD, anyways, just been doing the same ol' same ol' here at home, Work, Sleep, type, and draw really, I realllllly need to play some of my games though, there collecting so much dust ;_;, and my poor WoW character's I don't even wanna think about that XD.

So, I went and saw the Dark Knight on Tuesday and OMG, probably the most brilliant piece of Cinematography OUT THERE, if you like Batman, watch this movie, if you like comic books and comic book movies, SEE THIS MOVIE...if you like movies...SEE! THIS! MOVIE! There I made this point, I'm not gonna be bothered to waist my time to rave about how good Heath Ledger was in it cause it's been done by everyoen else for everyone else to already know, don't take my word for it and just SEE IT!

Hum, lets see, been typing allot on my collab project with, , Celestials, which is a SciFi fantasy based story featuring both of our chars, I plan on doing a scrap dump eventually of a bunch of character concepts I myself have done, she herself has done a few too, so if your interested in her art go see it XO, if not for stuff on my project, then go cause her art is seriously kick ass and needs much more lovin, but anyways, I'm into a good chunk of the story, and I already have 2 follow ups planned, so lots of fun to be had.

Umm, what else, erm, Still work at Wally-World, which I guess makes me Evil's lackie cause that place seems to drain your soul and fill it with evil every day you work a little more, and I'm hopefully gonna be grabbing Soul Caliber IV on this tuesday, cause that game is gonna be full of win.
